The Beginning
The Bhagwant Rai Scholarship Foundation was established by Dr. Bishwa Prakash Rai in loving memory of his father, Swargyia Bhagwant Rai. Born from a deep desire to give back to the community and honor his grand father’s legacy, Dr. Rai envisioned a foundation that would break down financial barriers to education.
Starting with a handful of students, the foundation has grown into a beacon of hope for countless families, transforming lives through the power of education and creating opportunities where none existed before.
